HGR Construction is a fully licensed, insured, and bondable Central Florida general contractor, based in Winter Park, Florida. Our project types vary widely, and include pre-engineered metal buildings, warehouses, tilt wall, structural steel, and masonry construction. Designed by Cuchaci & Petersen Architects, LLC, HGR broke ground on the University Center at the Quadrangle in June of 2007. This 19,500 SF office building is located on High Tech Avenue in Orange County on 1.8 acres near the University of Central Florida. Richard Heinkel was the Principal in Charge, Barry Wilemon the Project Manager, Robert Kelly the Superintendent and Martha Mallin the Project Expediter. HGR Construction was contracted to build the structure and associated parking areas, along with the common core areas on the 1st and 2nd floors. HGR was later awarded the buildout of the second half of the 1st floor and the interior improvements for Suite 250, a 2,500 SF support center with demountable partition offices in the center, surrounded by executive private offices around the perimeter. Eric Chewning was Project Superintendent and Martha Mallin was Project Expediter. All work was performed on time and within budget.
